Post Your Life Online and Brand It
By mauntech | February 28, 2007
There is a new Web 2.0 company called Dandelife which is an interesting “social biography network.” You can tell your life story with text, photos, video and timelines. In addition, with your permission you can have your story licensed to corporations seeking case studies and brandable narratives. I know blogging is very popular, and posting personal stories are a big part of it, but the idea of licensing your stories to businesses, I’m not so sure about. You can add the photos from Flickr and videos from YouTube as easily as drag and dropping them into your story. The service even provides tagging and feeds. Dandelife has coined the term lifecasting to refer to you telling your stories online and basis on the ideo of podcasting, videocasting and more.
